Al Yuknus booted a 42-yard field goal with 35 seconds left to lift Bucknell to a tie at Hempstead, N.Y.
Columbia's Larry Walsh missed a 36-yard field goal attempt on the last play of the game. Walsh had kicked a 25-yarder with 1:45 to give the Lions a 31-28 lead.
Columbia quarterback John Witkowski completed 21 of 37 passes for 423 yards and three touchdowns including a 93-yarder to Mark Milam, the longest scoring pass in Columbia history.
