JV Hoopsters Win

The B.C. J.V. basketball team lost only one out of 14 games last year. The Crimson did the damage then, and Harvard struck again last night, beating B.C. 70-56, and going up 3-0 on the year.

B.C. coach Tom McCarthy walked onto the floor last night calling the contest "a revenge match," but he left quietly after watching his Eagles sputter and crash at the Crimson's feet.

Often taking as much as a full minute before releasing a shot and rarely shooting without seven or eight good passes beforehand, the hoopsters freed themselves for good percentage shots.

What Crimson Coach Rick Duckett sees as his squad's defensive weakness let the Eagles mount several strong comebacks, only to have the cagers score a string of points and pull away again.

Sophomores Jeff Srinivasan and Kevin Skeely captured9999999 scoring honors for the Crimson with 21 and 15 points respectively, while forwards Ned Hall and Tony Thurman had 12 apiece for the Eagles.
