As Season Winds Down, Two Players Make Do

Hooft plans to work on his ballhandling skills this summer, in hopes of returning to the guard spot. He maintains that the combination of Sanders' coaching with the possible additions of Cox, Brian Banks and Glenn Fine (both of whom are taking this year off) and some players of the freshman team may lead to a strong season next year.

Starting Something

"I just hope we can do a good job in these last five games and start something good for next year," says Hooft.

If sanders' words are any indication, Hooft may be the standout. Several, weeks ago, Sanders praised the job Hooft has done as forward and said, "Bob will be the nucleus of our attack in the future."

High Hopes

The again, they may not.

In any event, Bob Hooft will be out on the IAB floor, coping--as usual.
