Princeton Looking to Upset Crimson As Big Three Season Opens Today

Beible has a very potent offense surrounding him with receivers Neil Chamberlin and Dan Fournier and running back Bob Reid providing most of the excitement.

And, with strong performances from his offense the last several weeks, Princeton coach Bob Casciola has a right to look for an upset, which is what he's been talking about all week.

Still, Casciola won't commit himself to saying anything inflammatory about an upset. "We haven't played a good game at both ends of the field for a few weeks now, but we've had some close games the whole time," he said yesterday.

Multiflex

Casciola is also wary of overrating the loss of Kubacki. "They've got that multiflex offense and strong personnel so it's hard to zero in on what to do to stop them."

All of which means that the Crimson can stay with Brown and Yale in the Big Three of this year's Ivy race, but only by fighting off another challenge from one of the traditional Big Three.
