A Dull Topic

This is a dull topic. And there is no getting around it. Especially after the just completed municipal and senatorial campaigns, with their many oratorical orgasms, Class Committee elections seem unimportant. If they produce anything, it will probably he only an increased apathy among the students.

Admittedly, Class Committee elections are not of atomic importance. But the fact is that Juniors will have a chance to vote tomorrow, and Sophomores next week, and that fact makes the occasion worth-while.

For no one has yet discovered a method for making the elective system work better than getting people to vote. Most students will vote for the man upstairs, or the eager characters across the hall. That is fine--at least they know their classmates. Too many do not, and so do not vote at all. They could talk to a few candidates and pick a favorite. It wouldn't hurt.

You'd be surprised at the nice people you can meet that way.
