After a short season at the end of the spring term, inter-House debating will gather momentum during the coming year, with an 18-debate schedule now definitely planned.
The House wining the round robin tourney will gain possession of a trophy awarded by the Debate Council.
In the only House debate hold this week, a Kirkland House due gained a unanimous decision over Winthrop last Tuesday. Richard Stone '50 and Robert L. Fischelis '50 Kirkland argued the affirmative of the topic" "Resolved, That the Taft-Hartley Law should be repeated," while Sydney Lyon '49, john Wood ward '40, and Owen B. Howard '49, defended the negative.
