The Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports at Harvard University has announced the award of 170 insignia to athletes who competed in winter sports.
Major 'H' in minor colors was awarded to Richard N. Thomas '42, captain of the wrestling team, who has won a Minor 'H' for three successive years.
It was voted to award Minor 'H' to the following members of the varsity rifle team: Laurence A. Davis '42, Peter L. Gill '43, John H. Powell '43, Malcolm J. Rowe '42, Lawrence K. Shaul '42, and Alan B. Shaw '44, Manager; and Minor Numerals to the following members of the freshman rifle team: Daniel J. Crowley, Jr., Louis Gerstley, 3d, Nathaniel C. Nash, 4th, Manager; Guerdon H. Nelson, Albert C. Petite, and Irwin E. Spalding.
It was also voted to award Swimming Numerals to Walter F. Rogers '43 for managing the Swimming Carnival.
