Bullard Paces Eliot Sextet To 6-3 Win Over Bunnies

Lowell, Dormitory, Adams Also on Top

With high scoring featuring the evening's play, Eliot topped Leverett 6 to 3, Lowell blanked Kirkland 5 to 0, the Dormitory team outscored Winthrop by a 5 to 2 count, and Adams scored six goals while whitewashing Dunster in the House hockey last night.

Lyman Bullard set a season scoring record with five goals in pacing the Elephants to their victory in the opening game. Gordy Lyle made the other tally for the winners, while Hunnewell, Eustis, and Nicholl came through for the Bunnies.

Setting the pace in the Bellboys' shutout win over the Deacons was Sorlien with two scores, with Rottschafer, Burton, and Tuttle finding the cords once each. Benshimol led the Claverly Clippers with two scores, with Holcombe, Hallowell, and Lovett each beating the goalie once. Butcher and Page tallied in vain for the Puritans.

In the final contest, Haussermann of the Gold Coasters became second high scorer of the evening with three encounters, while Sullivan had two and Wilcox one.

Although defeated, Winthrop remained in first place with four wins and one loss for eight points. Idle Dudley stayed at the leaders' heels with three victories in as many starts for six points. Tied for third with two triumphs, one defeat, and one deadlock apiece are Adams and Eliot.

In a tie one point behind is Dunster with four points. The Funsters have won twice and lost three times, while the Bellboys in the same number of games have been on top once, on the losing end in three contests, and have been in one deadlock for a total of three points.

A close fight for the cellar is being waged by Kirkland and Leverett, with the Deacons in possession at present, having fallen in all four of their games, while the Bunnies managed a tie for a single point.
