An exhibition of facsimile reproductions of drawings and engravings will be placed on display tomorrow at the Fogg Art Museum.
The exhibit includes reproductions of many of the works by Dutch and Flemish masters. It is the second of a series of exhibitions representing the works of classical art. The Italian masters were on display throughout last week.
Among the artists represented in the current exhibit are such well-known artists as Rembrandt, Rubens, and Van Dyke, all of whom painted during the seventeenth century, the high water period of Dutch and Flemish art.
These facsimiles which are on sale to all members of the University, are so faithful in their representation of the originals that they are considered fit material for a museum collection.
Next week, beginning May 5, the final exhibit of this facsmile series will be hung. It will include reproductions of drawings, etchings, and engravings by French and German Masters with a few reproductions of paintings by modern French artists included.
