A new basketball team, known as the "Nonpareils", which is composed of members of the Business School, succeeded in defeating the M.A.C. five 28 to 25 in a hard fought practice game, which was played off in the Old Drill Hall at Amherst Saturday afternoon.
The game was won in a five-minute overtime period. The highest scorer on the winning team was R.H. Hedges 2G.B., who made 11 points, but Captain L.L. Jones 2G.B., former M.A.C. star also proved to be an effective player.
The other men composing the team were C.C. Nicely 2G.B., who scored six points, M.A. Kraft 2G.B., who added two points to the score, and J.N. Olmstead 2G.B., who made nine points.
