The Phillips Brooks House Association will open its annual spring clothing campaign this morning in all the dormitories of the University. During the four days of the collecting, not only old clothing will be sought but also books of fiction, modern languages, history, and sciences such as astronomy, navigation, elementary mathematics, because of the call for such books by the American Merchant Marine.
In addition to the American Merchant Marine, which will receive most of the books, Robert College in Constantinople, Europe, and the Cambridge Welfare Society will be among the recipients of the articles collected.
Each collector has received a letter from R. P. Bullard '24, informing him of his appointment and his duties. All articles must be collected by Thursday noon. During that afternoon Phillips Brooks House will send a truck to pick up all articles collected.
