Competitions for positions on the news and editorial staffs of the CRIMSON will begin this evening. There will be a meeting of all candidates in the CRIMSON Office in the basement of the Union at 7 o'clock, at which the qualifications and work expected will be outlined. Those interested in College activities or in journalism are urged to report. The competition will be found especially valuable for the wide insight which it gives into University life.

The competition for news editorships will be open to Freshmen and Sophomores, and that for editorial positions to Juniors. The news competition will be the first for members of the class of 1916, and the last for members of the class of 1915. The editorial competition provides the last opportunity for members of the class of 1914 to make the paper. The work will begin immediately after the meeting and will continue until about the middle of May, with an intermission during the spring recess.
