Plans of Club.
At the organization meeting of the various committees C. E. Hughes, Jr., 3L., read a letter from President Taft in which he expressed his gratification at learning of the formation of a Taft Club in the University. An effort has been made to secure an address from the President next week, or, at some later time, if his calendar is too crowded on this visit to Boston.
The club aims to enroll in its membership every man in the University who favors the re-nomination and re-election of President Taft. It is expected that several speakers of national reputation will be secured in the near future to address the club on current political issues. Full announcements will be made in the CRIMSON later.
