The annual election of officers and committee-men of the Union will be held-today. The polls will be open in the corridor of the Union between 8 and 4 o'clock. The Australian ballot system will be used and no voting by proxy will be permitted. Only active and life members who are students in the University will have the right to vote. The persons receiving the greatest number of votes will be declared elected. The following men have been appointed to take charge of the polls: from 8 to 9, R. T. P. Storer '14 and A. Beane '11; 9 to 10, L. McK. Miller '11 and A. M. Goodale '13; 10 to 11, R. B. Wigglesworth '12 and L. Withington, Jr., '11; 11 to 12, J. A. Sweetser '11 and G. R. Harding '11; 12 to 1, W. A. Lawrence '11 and P. D. Smith '11; 1 to 2, J. A. Sweetser '11 and J. T. Coolidge, 3d, '11; 2 to 3, H. Jaques, Jr., '11 and H. deWindt '12; 3 to 4, W. G. Taussig '11 and T. T. Scudder '11. Sweetser '11. Members of the committee are requested to be in the Committee Room of the Union at 4 o'clock. If any of the committee or watchers at the polls is unable to attend, he is requested to provide a substitute.
Annual Business Meeting
The annual business meeting will be held in the Assembly Room this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The results of the elections will then be announced and the reports of the Covering Board and Library Committee will be read and acted upon.

Treasurer's Report
The report of H. S. Thompson '99, treasurer of the Union for the half-year ending February 28, 1911, is given below. The total loss in the running expenses is only $797.45 as compared with that of $2,884.11 for the corresponding period ending February 28, 1910. The restau- rant account, which a year ago disclosed a deficit of $1,660.52, now shows a net gain over the expense of $2,150.92. The report follows:
