May 27 was approved as the date for the annual boat race with Cornell at Ithaca.
It was decided to give a dinner to the Freshman football, relay and hockey teams, all of which were victorious over the Yale freshmen. The dinner will occur at the Varsity Club next Monday evening.
A committee composed of E. H. Wells '97, W. F. Garcelon L.'95, and H. deWindt '12 was appointed to compile eligibility rules for Harvard athletics. The action of the crew management in arranging a race between the Freshmen and Groton on May 29 was approved. The Weld crew will also row Worcester High on the Charles River on June 3.
The schedule of the fencing team was approved. The remaining dates are the preliminaries for the intercollegiates at West Point next Saturday and the finals for the intercollegiates at the Hotel Astor, New York, on March 31, and April 1.
The Senior Class Day Committee requested that the baseball game with Yale be changed from Class Day, and the matter was referred to the baseball committee. Permission was granted to the baseball team to leave on its southern trip on April 14.
It is probable that several movable steel stands will be built for use either at football or baseball games. This has not been definitely decided upon, however.
N. W. Bingham '95, A. Goodhue '04, and H. S. Thompson '99 will compose the committee to take charge of next year's sale of football tickets.
H. L. Gaddis '12, of McCune, Kansas, was appointed assistant manager of the track team; J. Elliott '12, of New York, manager of the hockey team; and R. L. Forbush '14, of Newton Centre, assistant manager of the gymnastic team. These appointments are subject to the approval of the Student Council.
