The Senior hockey team defeated the Sophomores last evening in the Stadium by the score of 30 to 1. The shooting and passing were poor throughout, but the teams were fairly evenly matched. Individually the Seniors excelled although the team-work of both sides was poorly developed.
In the first minute of play the Senior forwards carried the puck the length of the rink and Harrower scored from in front of the goal. Ellis made the Sophomores' only score soon afterwards, after he and Dick had carried the puck from the middle of the rink. Harvey scored for the Seniors towards the end of the period on a long shot from near the middle of the rink. In the second half the play was more even, Harrower scoring the only goal in this period toward the end of the game.
The summary: Score--1909, 3; 1911, 1. Goals--Harrower 2, Harvey, Ellis. Referee--Winsor. Timekeeper-- E. T. Dana '09. Time --15-minute halves.
