In addition to the regular scholarships in the division of chemistry, a fund has been established by the Messrs. Mallinckrodt of St. Louis, which will pay yearly the sum of $500. This amount will be awarded to a student of chemistry in the Graduate School, on condition that he serve the subsequent year in the Mallinckrodt Chemical Works at a suitable salary. The student must, have taken at least Chemistry 5, 6, 9 and 10, and must take or have taken Chemistry 11. Applications should be sent to Professor T. W. Richards, Boylston Hall, before April 1, 1905.
