"The Art and Science of War." Twelve lectures, by Captain John Bigelow, Jr., U. S. A., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in room 11, Rogers, beginning Jan. 7.

"Navigation and Nautical Astronomy." Twelve lectures, by Associate Professor A. E. Burton, on Tuesdays and Fridays, beginning Jan. 7, in room 26, Rogers.

"The General Chemistry of Metallic Elements," by Assistant Professor F. L. Bardwell, on Mondays and Thursdays, beginning Feb. 3, in room 35, Walker Building.

The Lowell Lectures are open to every one who sends in an application to the secretary of the Lowell Institute. As the number has to be limited by the capacity of the rooms, those who care to attend should apply early, stating the course they wish to take.
