HARD PRACTICE.

Yesterday's Practice the Last Before Tomorrow's Game at West Point.

Good runs by Davis and Gonterman carried the ball close to the third eleven's goal line, and shortly after the beginning of play Davis made the first touchdown. More good runs by Gonterman followed, and after some short rushes through centre, he scored.

One more touchdown was made by the first before time was called. The interference, as a rule, was fast and effective.

After a short rest the second and third elevens lined up as follows:

The play was quick and lively. Brewer and Wrightington made touchdowns with good interference.

A large number of coaches were out. among them were, Emmons, Wrenn, Lewis, Waters, L. Frothingham and F. Hallowell.
