Harvard, 9; Dartmouth, 2.

Harvard defeated Dartmouth again yesterday by the score of 9 to 2. There was much improvement shown after the exhibition of Wednesday. The team received a general shaking up. Captain Wiggin was in the box with O'Malley as catcher. Winslow and Stevenson exchanged places. Corbett played for the first time this year in center field and McCarthy took Hayes's place at right. In the ninth inning Wiggin got first on a safe hit and reached second on Smalley's fumble of Whittemore's hit. Winslow hit the ball to Smalley, who tried to catch Wiggin at third, but Folsom's foot was off the base and the bases were full. Dickinson hit to shortstop who threw Wiggin out at home plate. Paine was hit by a pitched ball, forcing in a run by Winslow. Stevenson hit to short who threw wild over first base and Dickinson and Paine scored, Stevenson reaching third and scoring on Corbett's hit.

Wiggin in the box showed great coolness and kept Dartmouth's hits well scattered. He was exceedingly well supported by O'Malley. Winslow fielded his position very well, stopping several swift grounders. Whittemore played his usual good game. The score:
