PUBLIC LECTURES ON TOPICS IN PSYCHOLOGY OF INTEREST TO TEACHERS.A course of twelve lectures to teachers on selected topics in Psychology considered from a practical point of view, will be given weekly on Thursday afternoons in the second half-year, at 4.30 p. m,, in the lecture room in Upper Dane Hall, by Professor Josiah Royce. The first lecture will be delivered on Thursday, Feb. 16. These lectures are open to all members of the University and to the public. There will be no registration of those who attend. Teachers, and persons intending to become teachers, are especially invited. The topics of the lectures are as follows:

1. What is a General Idea?

2. General ideas and the Theory of Habits.
