The ninety-four eleven played a short practice game with ninety-six yesterday afternoon, under the coaching of Captain Beals. At first the work was very ragged. The defense and interference were weak, and the eleven was not able to make any good gains, but towards the end of the half the work became more effective. Good holes were made for the backs, and a few long gains carried the call over the line. The weight of the ninety-four men gave them considerable advantage over ninety-six.
After the game ninety-six played the Manual Training School and defeated them 4-0.
