The Alumni of Columbia are circulating a petition protesting against the intended new sites for that institution being cut up by streets

The committee of the Amherst library has voted to attach a fine of $10 for taking a book from the library reading-room without permission.

The Trinity Faculty has passed a vote forbidding any student to pull in the tug-of-war without the consent of his parent and a doctor's certificate, and has also decided to abolish tug-of-war next year.

Professor Hill will hereafter meet the class in English A in two sections, on Monday at 2.3 p. m., and on Tuesday at 12. All the sections meet in Sever 11, and the assignment of seats is the same as in Mr. Fletcher's sections.
