An invitation has been extended to Yale to become a member of the Intercollegiate Cricket Association.

A plank walk is to be placed across Holmes field between the Carey Building and the Gymnasium.

Tuition in the Chicago University will be $25 per quarter, and chapel attendance will be compulsory.

The only tri-weekly college papers are the Vidette-Reporter, of the University of Iowa, and the Princetonian.

There is some talk at Exeter and Andover of arranging a series of three games in base ball instead of one as in former years.

Hereafter absences will not be marked in Botany 1, but each man will have to hand in a written question. No seats will be assigned.

In 1889 the number of freshmen entered in Greek electives was 151. Last year the number fell to 131, but this year 206 such elections are recorded.

Manager Franklin of the Yale base ball nine has accepted the challenge of the Boston League team for two games to take place at New Haven on April 5 and 6. It is also possible that Yale may play the same club in Boston on Fast Day.

The candidates for the Columbia freshman crew have been reduced to the following men: Dougherty, Shepard, Cutler, Potts, Richards, Beecher, Thayer, Freeman, Brown, Little, Cushman, Smyth, Sterry, Johnston, Spaulding and Foertter.
