'94, 34; EXETER 0.The Junior eleven defeated the Phillips Exeter team at Exeter on Saturday afternoon, 34 to 0. Exeter was weak in the centre and her backs, with the exception of Thomas, ran poorly and were aided by little or no effectual interference. The individual work of the men was fairly good but there was an utter lack of organization. With proper coaching the men ought to be able to put up an ordinarily strong game.

Ninety-four was very slow and her work not at all brilliant but reasonably steady. Davis broke through the line and tackled well. Beals and Cabot were also strong in their tackling. The interference was good though with the weak team which Exeter put into the field, it was comparatively easy to make short gains of four or five yards at a time. There were few runs for more than ten yards, but it was the heavier weight of the men and Exeter's failure to break through and tackle behind the line which made the score so large.
