The freshman crew rowed over the whole course at one stretch Wednesday.

All the freshman crew have passed Dr. Sargent's examination permitting them to row.

E. W. Blake Jr., L. S., H. W. Doe '93, and W. D. Flagg '94, have been elected regular editors of the Lampoon.

The Princeton nine beat Columbia on Wednesday by a score of 17 to 0.

A free rea ding room has been started at Princeton by the students of the college and seminary.

Sherman Hoar has been elected president of the New England Association of the Phillips Exeter Academy.

Professor Hart announces that History 14 will not be given next year, and probably will be given up entirely.

During the Easter vacation, S. D. Judd, L. S. S., was dangerously injured by the accidental discharge of a gun.

The freshman nine has arranged two dates with Phillips Exeter: April 25, at Exeter; May 20, at Cambridge.

The contest for the graduate football cup was kicked off on Tuesday. Trafford won, scoring 21 points to 19 for Corbett.

The Sophomore nine has arranged a game with the Boston Latin School for next Monday afternoon. A date has also been made for next week with the Belmont High School.

Professor Channing announced in History 1 that he would soon give 48 hours notice of an hour examination. Seventy-one men who have done satisfactory work since the mid-years need not take the examination.
