Each man must play one game with every other man in his section, and the two other men winning the most games in each section will go into the finals. Players are to make their own arrangements with the other men in their sections, but all games must be finished before next Thursday evening, and the report of them handed in to S. Adams, 30 Stoughton.
The blue book will be left at Bartlett's till next Saturday afternoon, and the management hopes that enough men will enter to form another section.
In the preliminary round Ballou beat de Mauriac, de Mauriac beat Barney, Adams beat Wilson, Hawes beat Hunt, Ballou beat Latham.
