Fact and Rumor.

The annual strawberry night of the Signet occurs June 19. Mr. C. E. Thayer, '89, will be the orator and Mr. R. E. N. Dodge, '89, poet.

The Goodard elocution prizes of Tufts College were assigned last night-the first prizes to W. C. Snow and G. H. Hero; the second prizes to I. W. Cate and W. L. Rickets.

The Deerfield Summer School of History and Romance will begin July 5th and close July 31st. There will be classics in folklore and American literature.

Professor Cohn will meet students who desire to consult him on the choice of their French courses, on Thursday, June 14, Friday, June 15, Saturday, June 16, from 9.30 to 12, in Sever 19.

The flags for the victorious Yale sophomore crew which won in the class races were distributed Wednesday. They are made of Yale blue silk, with gold trimmings, and are lettered "Yale Spring Regatta, 1888, '89-'90-'91. Won by '90. Time, 11.39. The name and position of the men are also affixed.
