'91, 7; '88, 5.

The freshmen won the first game of the class series yesterday, playing well and coolly at critical points. The game was finely contested and was exciting throughout, marred only by the tendency to "muckerism" evinced by a party of seniors, who did their best to rattle the freshmen. Mason caught a perfect game for '91. The umpiring was fair and impartial. The score:-
