Seven First Prizes, Six Second Prizes.

The thirteenth annual field meeting of the Intercollegiate Athletic Association, held Saturday at New York, resulted in a sweeping victory for Harvard. Though no records were broken, owing to the poor condition of the track and the drenching rain, yet the meeting was very successful, as all the events were well contested. Following is the summary of the events and winners:-

100-YARDS DASH.There were three trial heats in this event. The first was won by Bodley, Harvard, in 10 4-5s., with Myer, Harvard, second. Second heat, Sherrill, Yale, 10 3-5s.; Lund, Harvard, second. Third heat, Moen, Harvard, 10 4-5s.; Mandell, Harvard, second. The final heat was won by Sherrill, Yale, in 10 3-5s.; Moen, Harvard, second, and Myer, Harvard, third.

220-YARDS DASH.This event was also won by Yale. The first trial heat was won by Robinson, Yale, with Lund, Harvard, second. Time, 23 1-5s. Second heat, Sherrill, Yale; King, Princeton, second. Time 23 4-5s. Final heat won by Sherrill of Yale, with Lund of Harvard second. Time 22 3-5s.

440-YARDS DASH.The first heat was won by Dohm of Princeton in 55 1-5 seconds; second, Wells of Harvard. Second heat, won by Banks of Columbia, with Stead of Harvard second. Time 55 4-5s. Final heat won by Wells of Harvard by a splendid spurt at the end. Time 52 2-5s. Banks of Columbia second.

HALF-MILE RUN.In this event, Harvard secured the first three places, Miles winning in 2m. 2 1-5s.; Cogswell second, and Downs third.

MILE RUN.The mile run was won by Harmar of Yale in 4m. 37 4-5s. Davenport, second, was about ten yards behind.

MILE WALK.Wright, Harvard, won the mile walk with ease in 7m. 29s.; Mitcheson of University of Pennsylvania second.

120-YARDS HURDLE.The trial heats were won by Mapes of Columbia and Williams of Yale, with Bell and Noble of Harvard second. The final heat was won by Mapes with Williams second. Time 17 1-5s.
