Of the members of the International Copyright Association, of which President Eliot is president, twelve are graduates of Andover.

The largest observatory dome in the world is being built for the University of Michigan. It weighs ten tons and has a diameter of 45 ft. 4 in. at the base.

Williams college holds the world's amateur record in throwing the base-ball, with a throw of 127 yards 2 1-2 inches.

The Yale men who come from Ohio, have organized an Ohio Club, similar to the other State clubs at Yale and for the same purpose.

The thirteenth annual field meeting of the Inter-Collegiate Athletic Association will be held at the grounds of the Manhattan Athletic Club, on May 26th.

It is said that the alumni are getting up a petition asking the faculty to allow the nine to play with professional teams.

Tufts College Glee Club will give a concert in Cambridge, this evening, under the auspices of the Cambridge Social Union.

After next Monday there will be no more Monday lectures in N. H. 4 this year. There will be an extra lecture for review on next Wednesday afternoon, at 4 o'clock.

Mr. W. A. Setchell will read a paper on Mycetozoa before the Zoological Club this evening. The east door of the Museum will be open from 7.15 till 7.30 p. m.

Next summer will be the fiftieth anniversary of the establishing of the astronomical observatory at Williams College, and an appropriate celebration of the event will be held.

Wednesday, March 28, is the last day for receiving applications for the Parker, Kirkland, Walker and Paine Fellowships, and Saturday, March 31, is the last day for receiving applications for second year honors.
