University Calendar.

CONFERENCE MEETING.The next College Conference Meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, December 18, in Sever 11, at 7.30 p. m. Rev. John Graham Brooks of Brockton will speak on "Some Possibilities for Students to do Good Work in the Cities.

ENGLISH B.Specimens of Theme IV. will be read and discussed before the class, in Sever 11, on Tuesday, December 18, at 2 o'clock.

Theme V., a narrative, will be due on Tuesday, December 18. At the same time Theme III., corrected or rewritten, is to be returned to the instructors.

The Theme, of not less than fifteen hundred words, which may be substituted for Themes V. and VI., will be due on December 22, at 1 o'clock.

Themes are to be deposited in the wooden box in Sever 3 not later than 4 o'clock. By the regulations, no over-due theme will be accepted unless the writer satisfies the secretary that his failure to present it at the appointed time was caused by serious illness or other unavoidable hindrance.

Every student is required to follow implicitly the directions with regard to paper, folding, endorsing, etc., given on the English Composition card.

MISCELLANEOUS.The Museum of Comparative Zoology, and the Mineralogical Museum in Boylston Hall, are open to the public every week day from 9 a. m. till 5 p. m.

The Botanic Garden is open Sundays, as well as week days.

The Library in Gore Hall is open Sundays during term time from 1 till sunset for the use of members of the University only.
