At the Spring Meeting of the Yale freshman class, Robinson ran one hundred yards in 10 1-5 seconds; two hundred and twenty yards in 23 1-5 seconds; and made a broad jump of 20 feet 9 1-2 inches.
In the game between Amherst and Brown last Wednesday, Stores of Amherst batted the ball over the fence, distant over three hundred feet, making the longest hit ever made on the field.

One of the Townsend prizes, much sought after at Yale, has been given to Mr. John Bennetto of the senior class. Before he went to Yale he was a compositor, and has worked at his trade during vacations. This is an honorable record.
MacPherran of the senior class at Exeter won the one hundred, two-twenty and four-forty yards dash at the games held at Exeter Saturday. His records were as follows: One hundred yards, 10 1-2 seconds; the two twenty in 22 3-5 seconds; breaking the Exeter records in these two events.
