Fact and Rumor.

In the last nine years Andover has won five games of base-ball from Exeter and lost four; in foot ball, Andover has won five games and lost three.

There are 245 students at Lafayette. The college has only five endowed professorships and claims that it has never received a legacy.

Harvard men will be astonished to learn from the Chicago Herald that the song, "Fair Harvard," was written by the poet Whittier, and first read at the late Harvard jubilee.

Prof. Harper, of the Divinity School. and formerly of Morgan Park Seminary, has transferred his publications, "The Old Testament Student" and "Hebraica" to New Haven.

The Harvard Gun Club has written to Cornell agreeing to shoot a match in Ithaca, five men on a side, twenty-five birds per man, providing one hundred and twenty-five dollars are allowed them for expenses. - Cornell Sun.

The proceeds of the lectures given by Dr. Waldstein under the auspices of the Woman's Education Association, amounting to two hundred and seventy dollars will be contributed to the fund of the American School at Athens.
