Fact and Rumor.

The Cornell crew, which it was expected would row at Philadelphia for the Childs cup, has disbanded because of a lack of funds. The Childs cup, which Cornell now holds, will be forfeited in consequence.

Following are the officers of the Yale Base-ball Association for next year: president, James Archibald, Jr., '87, Scranton, Pa.; vice-president, E. W. Durant, '87, South Stillwater, Minn.; treasurer, Alfred Leeds, '87, Stamford; secretary, R. M. Hurd, '88, New York City.

Members of the freshman class will be examined in Physics A in the rooms of Sever as follows: Abbot to Goodwin inclusive, S. 37; Gray to Howe, S. 30; Hull to Lent, S. 24; Levi to L. H. Morgan, S. 23; Morse to Prescott, S. 18; Prindle to Slade, S. 17; Slattery to Trail, S. 6; G. E. Turnure to Zinkeisen, S. 5 Special students will conform to the same alphabetical arrangement.

The Exonian showed great enterprise in getting out an extra on Saturday last to celebrate their victory over Andover. An excellent account of the game, editorials illustrated with crowing roosters and bright squibs on the members of the nine make up a very pleasing paper. Following in a bit of poetic effusion:

Our left fielder's name is Pattee
