The Yale crew has begun rowing in its new shell.

The commencement exercises of Wellesley will begin on the 20th inst.

The date for the postponed single scull races has not yet been fixed.

Upwards of fifty men have signed the book for the 'varsity game on Saturday.

Blanks containing the choice of electives for next year, must be handed in to-day.

The 'varsity and freshman crews will leave for New London Friday, June 18th.

There were a hundred and twenty-five entries for the Yale Bicycle Club tournament which was held last Friday and Saturday.

Members of German I and III, by leaving an addressed postal-card at Mr. Wheeler's room, 21 Stoughton, will receive their final marks in these courses about July 1.

In the University of Michigan athletic games, Duffy broke all amateur records in the foot-ball drop kick, with a distance of 168 ft. 7 1-2 in.

Attention is called to the fact that ball playing in the yard is against the regulations. Several men have learnt this to their sorrow of late.

The Yale navy expects to be out of debt at the end of the year. There was a debt of $1400 when the present management assumed control.

Last Friday, Baker, '86, ran a close heat in the 100 yards dash with Rogers, '87, at Beacon Park. Baker made it in 10 seconds, with Rogers less than a foot behind him.

A barge for Beacon Park will leave the gymnasium at 2.30 this afternoon, sharp, to accommodate those who wish to see the race. Fare, round trip, 40 cents. Will return in time for the ball game.

Immediately after the performance by the Glee Club at the Promenade Concert at Music Hall last Saturday evening, an invitation was extended to them to sing at the Sunday concerts which are to be given during June at the Point of Pines. The invitation is under consideration by the club, and an answer will probably be determined upon during the coming week.

The contest for the college championship has now narrowed down to Yale and Harvard. Princeton has played all her championships; Yale has played all except the two with Harvard. The two games with Amherst must be won by Harvard, in order to tie Yale in number of games lost and won. Following is the standing of the clubs:
