The Inter-Collegiate Rowing Association, comprising Brown, Bowdoin, Columbia, Cornell and the University of Pennsylvania, will row their annual race in July, on Lake George.

The lacrosse team will play the Bostons this afternoon at 4.30 on Jarvis. The Bostons have several new Canadian players and the game will undoubtedly be interesting.

A last year's roll was called in one of the political economy courses a few days ago. The usual names were responded to, and the mistakes was overlooked at the time by the instructor.

On Wednesday the Metropolitans defeated Yale by a score of 1 to 0. The Metropolitans made no errors, while Yale made but two. The Metropolitans made only three base hits off Stagg.

Miss Minna Caroline Smith, of the Harvard Annex, has just published a small collection of verse, entitled, "In Fruitful Lands and Other Poems." The book, of which we print a review in another column, is for sale at the Co-operative, Amee's, and Sever's.

Junius S. Morgan, of London, has given to Trinity College the necessary amount of money for a gymnasium. He has also given $10,000 additional to cover the cost of building an annex for practice in base-ball, foot-ball, and tennis throughout the winter months.
