'90 has chosen the Harvard Freshman colors, crimson and white, for class-colors. Originality is not expected to be found among Freshmen. - Tech.

The candidates for the Columbia freshman crew, for which there are 30 candidates, began rowing on the hydraulic machines at Wood's gymnasium last week.

The Medical School was founded in 1783, the Divinity School in 1815. the Law School in 1817, the Lawrence Scientific School in 1847, the Museum of Comparative Zoology in 1859.

The election of class day officers at Tufts has been announced. L. R. Lewis was elected orator and G. M. Maulsby poet. It is said that nearly half of the class are class-day officers.

Harvard has received another legacy. Verily to those that have, shall be given. While Harvard luxuriates in constantly increasing legacies, Yale has to trust to the charity of the cold world for clean towels and soap in the gym. - Yale Courant.

The next Harvard Union Debate will take place Jan. 6, 1887, in Sever 11 at 7.30 p.m. The question for discussion is: "Resolved, That in view of the Present Relations between England and Ireland, a Home Rule Measure would be extremely desirable." The regular disputants, are, aff. Russell Duane, '88, R. B. Mahany, '88; neg., H. M. Williams, L. S., G. P. Furber, '87.
