GERMAN LECTURES.For students who desire suggestions as to private reading in German, Dr. Kuno Francke will give one more lecture on the present state of German literature as follows: -

Tuesday, Dec, 14: Contemporary Lyrics and Romances. This lecture will be given in Sever 6, at 3 p.m.

ENGLISH B.A lecture will be given in Sever 11, on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 2 o'clock. Subject: The Art of Narration, continued.

Theme IV. will be due on Tuesday, Dec. 21. It must be deposited in the wooden box in Sever 3 before 4 o'clock. Subject: A Narrative.

At the pleasure of the writer, themes V and VI - both narrative - may be continuous; or they may be combined in one theme of at least ten pages, to be handed in at the date fixed for theme V.

A note of the subject of each theme, on a card specially prepared for the purpose, must be deposited in the wooden box in Sever 3 at least one week before the theme is due. A card will be found enclosed in every theme returned to students.

By the Regulations, no overdue theme will be accepted, unless the writer satisfies the Secretary that his failure to present it at the appointed time was due to serious illness of other unavoidable hindrance. Overdue themes, duly countersigned, may be left at 18 Grays.

GLEE CLUB.The Glee Club and Pierian Sodality will give a concert in Sanders Theatre on Friday, December 17.
