Fact and Rumor.

When President Cleveland enters Cambridge on Monday, a salute of 21 guns will be fired and the bells will be rung for half an hour. The same salute will be given when he returns to Boston.

The observatory will be open to visitors today, from 10 to 5, when the instruments will be exhibited and their uses explained. Visitors should wear their badges. The entrance to the grounds is on Garden street.

Tickets for the Lawrence scientific school lunch may be obtained by former students of the school, of Prof. W. S. Chaplin, 16 Prescott street, or of Mr. G. R. Nutter, at the Registration room, No. 4 University Hall. The lunch is at 7 p.m. Tickets, $1.00.

Mr. William Hopkins Tillinghast, the editor of the quinquennial catalogue, has compiled an interesting "Bundle of Statistics relating to the Graduates of Harvard University," which may be obtained at University 4. Every graduate should have a copy.

The Museum of Comparative Zoology, the Peabody Museum of American Archaeology and Ethnology, and the Mineral Cabinet in Boyleston Hall will be open to-day and Monday, from 9 to 5 o'clock, and to-morrow (Sunday) from 1 to 5 o'clock. The Botanic Garden will also be open during the anniversary.
