JUNIOR THEMES.The corrected copies of theme III need not be handed in until Jan. 26.

SOPHOMORE THEMES.Theme VIII will be due on Thursday, Feb. 18.

The choice of subject and of manner of treatment is left to the writer.

MID-YEAR EXAMINATIONS, 1886.Each examination begins at 10 a.m., and, by the regulations, must not be extended beyond three hours.

Exercises in the following courses will be suspended after 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25th: All courses designated by letters; French 1, 2, 9 and 10; German 1, 2, 3 and 9; History 1 and 2; Music 3; Mathematics 1; Chemistry 1; Nat. History 1, 2, 3 and 4. - Exercises in other courses will be suspended after 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27th.

*** By the regulations, students are forbidden to have any unauthorized books or papers in an examination room.
