The university nine will play the Andover Academy nine on Thursday, at Andover.
Brown defeated Princeton yesterday by a score of 10 to 5. Base hits, Brown 11, Princeton 9. Errors, Brown 4, Princeton 6.
The Amherst and Harvard games with Brown at Providence, will not be played on the University grounds, but on the Messer street grounds.
W. B. Page of the University of Pennsylvania, who recently jumped so well, is said to be only sixteen years old and but 5 feet 6 inches in height.
Vankirk of Princeton, who jumped 20 feet 1 inch in the games Saturday is expected to be able to cover 21 feet before the Mott Haven sports.
The series of games between our nine and the Beacons will be continued this afternoon. After our Monday's victory, the play of the nine will be watched with interest.
