Last night the following positions were drawn. Counting from the wall or the south side, '86 got 1st, '85 2d, '84 3d, and '87 the 4th, or outside course.

In case of rough weather, the position next to the wall will be the most desirable, as it is better sheltered; but with smooth water, the two outside positions have a slight advantage in a stronger tide.
