Harvard. '86, 13; Boston Latin School, 5.The freshmen played an uninteresting game with the Boston Latin School nine on Saturday. The nine was crippled by the absence of Allen, Smith and Nichols, and consequently several of the men had to play out of their positions. Bruner made a very difficult catch of a hard hit fly over the right field fence. Phillips and Edgerly led in fielding, Phillips, Kimball and Chamberlain in batting. The Browns defeated the Beacons Saturday by a score of 16 to 2. Brown made but one error and played a very sharp fielding game, besides batting heavily. Base hits - Brown 16, with a total of 24; Beacons 12, with a total of 19. Brackett pitched for the Beacons and was batted easily. The following composed the Brown nine: Greene, c.; Durfee, r.f.; Bassett, 3b.; Doron, 1b.; Rhett, 1.f.; Seagraves, c.f.; Shedd, s.s.; Gunderson, p.; Wadsworth, 2b.

The New York nine defeated Yale in New York, Saturday, 14 to 3. Yale was weak in the field making several costly errors. She was also weak at the bat. Yale presented her change battery, Booth and Southers.

The nine will play a game with the J. L. Whiting nine tomorrow on Jarvis field. Game called at 4 P. M.

The Tufts College nine defeated a nine from the Harvard Medical School Saturday 10 to 9.
