The fourth ten of the Institute of 1770 from '86 is composed as follows: Abbot, W. L. Allen, E. E. Hamlin, Claflin, L. Lincoln, Kimball, L. Chase, Burnett, Timmins, D. H. Coolidge.

The following men have been elected directors of Memorial: Rogers, '86, Craig and Tilden, '87.

Phillips Exeter and Adams Academies have a game of foot-ball today at 3 P. M. on the Boston base-ball grounds.

Slosson beat Sexton in cushion carom billiards on Thursday by 17 points thus winning the championship.

The sloop Fanny raced the sloop Gracie on Thursday over an ocean course, and won by Sm. 18s. corrected time.

At Wellesley and Smith the students take no part in the commencement exercises. which consist mainly of an oration by some prominent man of ability.

Contestants will please be on hand promptly this afternoon as the Athletic meeting will begin at 2.30 P. M. sharp. There will be a fire in the room in the Society building where contestants are expected to dress.

Bethany College, Philadelphia, an institution where, among other practical branches, painting, shoemaking, cooking, embroidery, telegraphy and printing are taught, was thrown open for the third season last week.

The following men play on the lacrosse team today in New York: Easton, goal; Rueter, point; Marquand, cover-point; Goodale, Baldwin and Bradford, defence; Williams, centre; Nichols and Roundy, attack; Noyes, Hood and Woods, home. Mr. Robert Sturgis, '81, will probably act as fieldcaptain.
