FACT AND RUMOR.

A. D. Claflin, '86, talks of attempting to break the two mile college bicycle record held by C. A. Reed of Columbia in 6.47 1-2.

There will be an important meeting of Pi Eta Society at the rooms tonight at 7.30 o'clock. A full attendance is requested.

An extra examination in English 1 will be given at the end of this month for those men who missed their final last year.

The following men have been elected members of the Glee Club: Stuart, Swinscoe, Baldwin, Edgerly and C. L. Simmons.

The third ten of the Institute of 1770 from '86 are: R. D. Smith, W. Baker, Austin, Latham, Dicky, Vogel, Frost, Harris, Fessenden and Codman.

Mr. Joseph H. Clarke, the leader of the Assos Expedition, has returned to lay his report before the American Institute of Archaeology. He goes back to England in January to write his final report.

Some of the college men have complained of the difficulty in getting season tickets for the foot-ball games this fall. It is hoped that the management will give immediate information to all as to when and where the tickets are to be obtainel. This will contribute equally to their advantage and to the convenience of their patrons.
