He has on hand at all times the catalogues of various publishers of Europe and America, so as to be able to give to callers or buyers a definite and prompt reply in answer to their questions of price and other details regarding books. New books of certain highly esteemed publishers are introduced into the stock just as soon as the book stores of any city can get them.
