The Ohio college association, at its meeting last week, adopted divers recommendations as to degrees and courses of study which will tend to raise the standard of college education throughout the west. Sixteen colleges are recognized by the association. The largest college faculties are at Oberlin, Wooster, Cincinnati, the State University and Ohio Wesleyan. The largest number of students, both in the college course and in all departments, are at Oberlin, Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan.
