* Mr Voorhees is the gentleman whose record of 21 ft. 4 1/2 in. was doubted last fall, owing to a doubt about the measurement. He now unquestionably heads the American amateur record.
In the Table of English Amateur records, the Clubs of the Standing High Jumpers are as follows: -
E. Hargreaves, Washington A. C., instead of Oxford Univ. A. C. is given; E. Moore, Burnley Cricket Club.
In the table of English Coll. records, the Hurdle Race record should be credited to C. H. Jackson of Oxford, with a record of 16 seconds, made at Oxford, Nov. 14, 1865, instead of to the 4 gentlemen mentioned as having records of 16 2-5 seconds.
