WE are glad to see from the report of the Base Ball Convention that no opposition was made to the admittance of Yale into the Association. It is certainly much better to have all the prominent colleges represented in such an association, and that there be no ill-feeling toward any one in particular. We think it would be advisable to have some stated amount as a guarantee for the appearance of a club, so as to avoid any trouble like that in Amherst's case.
